What H315 means

Skin corrosion is irreversible damage to the skin, visible as full-thickness destruction of skin tissue after an exposure of up to four hours. Skin irritation is reversible damage to the skin after an exposure of up to four hours. Corrosive materials are Category 1, and irritants are Category 2 (or 3 in some systems).

Contact can cause burns, redness, swelling or pain. Corrosive materials can cause permanent scarring.

What to do

Wear chemical-resistant gloves and protective clothing, avoid contact, and wash exposed skin with plenty of water. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Get medical attention if irritation continues or for any burn.

This is general guidance for the hazard class. The safety data sheet for your product always takes precedence.
